The funny thing is I’m like 50, American and I have only seen 3-4 guns in my life. I understand why it’s unique and people see it as such a cultural touchstone for the USA but for a huge portion of people it’s just not a big part of our lives.
Certainly there are Americans that spend a lot of more time outdoors, hunting, and around guns but most of the people it’s just not part of the world.
